Mega Pinsir: Pinsir packs a punch in its mega form with its amazing attack and great speed. Frustration is there for STAB thanks to its ability Aerilate and Quick Attack is great STAB priority. One Swords Dance is enough to sweep a lot of unprepared teams. Close Combat provides coverage for Steel and Rock types.
Volcarona: Your main special attacker on the team, Volcarona is a necessary member on almost any Bug team. Its Fire typing and sweeping potential are great to have and shouldn't be passed up. Fiery Dance and Quiver Dance are great moves for sweeping. Giga Drain provides valuable recovery and coverage against Water and Ground types while Hidden Power Ground prevents Volcarona from being walled by Heatran. A Focus Sash allows for 1 guaranteed turn of survival if Volcarona can get in the battle at full health.
Heracross: A great revenge killer and physical sweeper, Heracross can get the job done. A Choice Scarf and Moxie is a potent combination that can easily sweep teams. Close Combat and Megahorn are the standard high power STAB moves. Earthquake and Stone Edge both help against Fire teams, which Bug tends to struggle with.
Galvantula: My little electric bugger is here and very handy as well. It mainly functions as a suicide lead to set up Sticky Web and slow the opponent down. I added Thunder Wave to account for the opponents that aren't affected by Sticky Web, such as Flying types and levitators. Thunder is used instead of Discharge or Thunderbolt because Compound Eyes makes its accuracy usable. Energy ball does nice damage to Ground, Rock, and especially Water/Ground types.
Forretress: This is my savior from hazards. Forretress's main purpose is to spin away those deadly Stealth Rocks and set up its own hazards. Volt Switch allows you to keep some momentum going and Gyro Ball is there to do some decent STAB boosted damage. The Red Card allows you to force setup sweepers out as soon as they attack you.
Scizor: This is my third and final physical attacker on the team. Bullet Punch boosted by Technician and Life Orb is deadly to most things that don't resist it. U-turn is there to keep up momentum and do some nice damage on the switch. Knock Off is decent coverage, but even better utility since it gets rid of your opponent's item. Normal and Ghost teams in particular do not appreciate getting Knocked Off. Roost allows Scizor to recover the Life Orb recoil and keep on sweeping.
